Laggan Lodge is a very comfortably furnished family home which enjoys all the usual, much needed mod cons! It is let to accommodate 10 people and offers the perfect family holiday getaway.
The kitchen is good sized room fully equipped with an oil fired AGA, dishwasher, microwave and American fridge freezer. There is also a utility room complete with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Downstairs the accommodation comprises a good sized sitting room with open fire and incredible sea views, a large dining room, family kitchen, snug, utility room, shower room and large porch for muddy boots and dogs.
There are two staircases in the Lodge. At the top of the front stairs is the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom, three double bedrooms (one with double bed and two with twin beds) a single room and family bathroom. The back stairs are off the kitchen and comprise a double room, a single room and separate bathroom.
Guests are required to bring their own linen except for the master bedroom where linen will be provided.
There is a TV/DVD in the snug, open fire places in the sitting room, dining room and snug and a large American style fridge freezer in the Kitchen.
Pets allowed by arrangement and well-mannered dogs are more than welcome but are limited to two. Pets should be kept on leads due to the livestock surrounding the house but there is a secure fenced area both front and back.
Please be aware that Laggan Lodge is strictly no smoking.
The house is surrounded by the family farm, owned by my family, with sheep and Highland Cattle grazing all around. It should be noted that the road to the Lodge is somewhat rough so care should be taken when driving cars with a low undercarriage!
Fishing is available on Loch Uisg, a fresh water loch. Boats can be hired by arrangement with Lochbuie Estate (contact Jim Corbett 01680 814214).
